The Story of the Man in the Iron Mask

In 1660 it had been many years since the Musketeers fought together. The young King Louis XIV was arrogant and cruelty.

A tragedy occured on Athos at first. His dear son Raoul died in a war, because the King kept away Raoul from his love Christine whom the King fell in love. The top management of the Society of Jesus, Aramis was also seeking his life by the King. Aramis knew the royal secret that the King was born as twin, so he decided to look for the another man who could come to the throne and to replace the King with his twin broter. Aramis join with Athos and Porthos. And he discover the King's twin brother, Philippe who was weared a iron mask and was confined in the Bastille .

While d'Artagnan was still a captain of musketeers. He was always loyal to the royal family. So he refused Aramis' temptation and cautioned him.

The three old musketeers succeeded in saving Philippe. They told his secret to him and teach everything as king. At that time Christine knew the real facts of Raoul's death and killed herself.

In the night of masquerade, the three musketeers and Philippe slipped into the royal palace. They catched the King and replace with Philippe, but they failed escape from there. Philippe was put on the iron mask and was returned to prison again.

When the three musuketeers tried to save him, d'Artagnan offered to cooperate with them. Though they felt that it was trap of d'Artagnan, they tried to save Phillipe. When they were very close to a crisis, they were known another secret about royal twin by d'Artagnan...
