The Musketeers' Stories in English

This is the Complete Dumas' "Musketeer Series" in chronologicial order: The most popular ones are 1.) and 5.) and they are easily to get in big bookstores. The tiles in blankets are original French titles.

The following books are all in English Version, though some presses still use the Original French Titles. They are worth for their price and they are easily to get in bookstores around.

1.) The 1st book out of five.

The Complete and unabridged version. D'Artagnan and the three Musketeers were at the service of the Queen, Anne of Austria. The Cardinal, Richelieu, would do anything to stop them. Therefore, he sent Milady to the mission....... The novels ends at Milady being executed, d'Artagnan and his three friends each seperate in their own path.

2.) The last out of five.

Dumas, Alexandre. The Man In The Iron Mask. Translated by Jacqueline Rogers.
New York: Penguin Books (Signet Classic), 1992. ISBN 0-451-52564-7
U.S. $6.95 ; Canada $8.99

This paperback includes an afterword by Jack Zipes. I haven't read it yet, but it seems to me that d'Artagnan died in this last novel of the Musketeer Series.

This book is the best that I have found. It includes a map, some historical characters reference, explanatory notes, a and chronology of Dumas. I still have a few chapters to read until I finish it. Currently it is out of print.

This book is published by the same press as above, therefore it also includes all the references as I have mentioned in above. Currently it press is out of print.
